Ellison is TWO!

I can't believe it, but my sweet little boy is two. We had a great party with lots of family and friends. Thanks to everyone who came out for the Elmo fun. Ellison enjoyed every minute of it and we appreciate everything! Thanks to Aunt Dana and Uncle Michael for hosting the party. Thanks to the Grandparents for all of your help in planning this great day!

Parker and Bruce eating some snacks at the party. Typical Bruce Lee face...most

relaxed individual I have ever met.
We tried to open presents fast before the rain...
Thank goodness it only rained for a few minutes.

It was a great Elmo party. The cake was made from the heart by Ellison's

Mommy and Daddy!

Lane and Ellison eating cake...yummy!

More presents....wow!

While Lane was staring at the balloons, Ellison stole a strawberry from

his plate.

Lawton running around at the party. It was so good to see Roz and

Blake and their crew. I miss you guys!!!

Alex was like the big brother at the party...He pulled all of the kids in

the wagon. Thanks Alex!

Luke and Madison are Two!

Well, I am not sure how the pictures ended up this way, but these were all from Luke and Madison's party. We had a ball playing with all of the kids and parents. It was a perfect day to celebrate two of the sweetest and cutest kids ever. Thanks for the invitation!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Mrs. Jeannie and Mr. Lucian hosted a fabulous Easter Egg hunt for all of the kids. It was loads of fun for everyone. Ellison had a great time! Thanks to the Lee's for such a nice treat.

We had a wonderful, exciting, and busy Christmas break. Family time was a blast. You will see below that we stayed on the road a lot so our New Year's celebration was a little calm. After coming home from the beach, we were soooo tired and worn out that we decided to chill out for New Year's. Surprisingly, Matthew had to wake me up when the ball dropped. Ellison, of course, snoozed right through it. Thanks to everyone that invited us to hang out with you on New Year's...next year we will rest up.
One exciting thing that I personally did over my week off was read an entire book, "Choosing to See", by Mary Beth Chapman. I haven't read an entire book since EAV has been born...this was one of the best books I've read. It is so real, honest, and I think I am her long lost sister. We are so much alike...personality wise. It was very sad, refreshing, and encouraging all at once...she would have you almost in tears and then throw a line in there to make you bust out laughing. Well, you should read it...I have an extra copy because I received two for Christmas.

Ok, I have blogged my little heart out today so please scroll down and don't expect anymore for a while. LOL! Love to you all!! Happy 2011.

Beach and Aquarium

The day after Christmas, we loaded up and headed to the beach for a few days with my parents, brother, and sister-in-law. It was weird driving to the beach because of the snow everywhere. We thought it would be snowing at the beach, but it stopped snowing right about Conway. Still cool and made for a better ride.
My mom went with us to the Aquarium at Broadway. It was very neat and such a joy
to see Ellison's eyes light up when he saw the big fish.
Dad and EAV checking out the cool sea life.

This face says it all.

Mommy, did you see that fish?
More fish and water, water everywhere. Ellison really enjoyed the fish but
he really liked the floor that moved you along slowly through the shark part.
