One Friday in September, my mom and I took Ellison to Sky Top Apple Orchard. It was one of the first cooler weekends so I thought it was a great idea. We get there and much to our surprise...it was a lot cooler. Thank goodness we found my great friend, Lindsey, there. She is much more experienced at being a mother so she was prepared and had extra jackets in her car. We were so thankful to have the jackets...even Ellison was thrilled to wear Avery's pink coat. We still had a great time, but we left the apple picking up to the New's. My mom and I just bought pre-picked apples and the YUMMY doughnuts.

Ok, I noticed last week that my very old blog background suddenly disappeared. I have been trying to add a cute new fall background before winter arrives, but every time I try to apply one...it is one big failure. Does anyone out there in the blog world know what I am doing wrong? I follow the directions from the cutest blog on the block. Maybe, I am just a tired mommy and one day when I am well rested I can figure it out. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll post some pictures soon. I know this was a very boring post for those only interested in seeing Ellison pictures. Much love!

Matt Rob Came To Town
Matt Robinson was one of Matthew's roommates at Lee. He has made a special effort
to come down for a visit each year, especially since Ellison was born. We were able to take him
to a Blue Ridge High football game to see Chase play. We also went downtown to hang out.
Matt Rob brought Ellison a gift...his first pair of basketball shoes. See below...they were a little big but we will definitely use them a few years down the road.

St. Simons Island: Beach Trip 2010
famous beach pics...well this is the best we could get...oh well, next year we
will do better!
of course we had to try it out. Ellison loved this slide...he love it so much
that we had to go down it over and over and over!
Each time they came near the island they sounded a big horn.
We all ran out like little kids every single time.
the island. We enjoyed Uncle Quinn's "epic" bike rides.
